Sometimes I may also be found on irc, on the dalnet networkin #Sanguinarius (vampire channel) in #Avalon (channel for this site), or #Losthaven. My nickname is  Ravena_ . You can access a web based irc chat for dalnet if you do not have an irc client. See further below for more instructions.

Those with an irc client can access the dalnet network If you require help using the dalnet network or you are new to irc, visit #help by typing /join #help . Dalnet also has a page for irc newbies, it has useful information about how to connect. Two examples to connect via an mIRC client: /server jade.dal.net and /server broadway.dal.net . These commands are typed in the status window.

f you want an irc client and do not have one, there are free ones available on the net. One such client is mIRC.

If you are not sure how to install mIRC, you will find directions on their site.

You can visit dalnet's page and use the java chat they provide. You can find the java chat in the "chat now" box on the right side of the page. Enter your nickname and press Go. If the name you choose is taken or registered to another user, it will change your nick name to Guest and assign anumber, like Guest1234.(you can change your nickname by typing /nick new nick )You may be asked if you want to install
and run Java chat, if you select no, you will not be able to chat using the java client. To join a channel, you type /join #channel name here, don't forget to put the # in front of the channel name.
